Chesworth Farm Draft Management Plan Consultation
Horsham District Council has recently consulted on its draft management plan for the 90 acre farm on the south side of the town. This much loved paradise of wild grassland and ancient hedgerow which has been a farm since before 1086 is steeped in history and where Katherine Howard - Henry VIII's fifth wife - once lived. It has numerous footpaths incorporating grassland, the River Arun, wet meadow, and access to surrounding countryside. It can be explored either via the Horsham to Southwater cycle route, (Pedlars Way) or as part of Horsham's Riverside Walk, following the River Arun.
